Gujarat will play Garba after 2 years :The Gujarat government has again recommended that players who want to play Garba this year be allowed to play Garba within the limit of 500 people but their proper guidelines should be followed.
As the next Ganesh Utsav is coming, only 15 people have been allowed in it. This year, the state government has finally approved all the upcoming religious, social and political programs on the basis of certain conditions and certain guidelines. The state government can make special changes in all these approvals whenever it wants. The government has specially suggested that the Bhadarvi Poonam fair can only be visited during the day but the fair will not be held and more people will not gather.
Gujarat will play Garba after 2 years
Due to Kovid-17, drums were played in Navratri in Gujarat last year, orchestra taal garba was banned. Only Aarti and Prasad distribution of Mandvi was allowed. However, this year, the state government will allow Garba, Dior, live orchestra to be held at the beginning of Ganesh Mahotsav for a cultural program with Bandwaja, DJ. The issue was discussed at length in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Wednesday.
On the basis of which, the Home Department had issued an order to give permission to play the band Vaja, DJ, subject to the terms of the SOP of Corona. With the signature of Additional Home Secretary Nikhil Bhatt, instructions were issued on Wednesday evening to all Commissioners of Police, District Collectorate and Superintendents of Police regarding permission to play Bandwaja, DJ. “Religious places can accommodate a maximum of 500 persons in the open and 50 per cent of the capacity of the closed space (up to a maximum of 500) subject to adherence to the Corona guideline,” it said.
Therefore, bandwajas, DJs will be allowed to play in the festivals, including political, starting from Ganesh Chaturthi on Friday, September 10, subject to the said limit. However, the organizers will have to demand for it.
The Home Department’s order dated August 4 has asked to allow only 15 persons with one vehicle at the time of Ganesh Mahotsav installation and dispersal. As such, bandwajas, DJs may be allowed to play during the festival.
Navratri is starting from October 3. The government will issue new instructions two weeks later for its planning, but with the permission to play Bandwaja, DJ, it has been decided that my devotees will also be able to play Garba after Aarti in the traditional Garba this year.
In Gujarat, 4% of the citizens have received both doses of the vaccine and 5% have received one dose. Corona’s daily cases are also coming in at less than 50. However, cases are on the rise in Kerala and Maharashtra. Following the possibility of a third wave in this situation, the organizers of the commercial Navratri have announced to keep Garba closed. As such, only street garba can be allowed. Asked about Garba in Navratri, Home Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja said, “It will be decided based on the situation at that time.”

With 50, 100 and finally 200 guests allowed, most of the weddings in the last one and a half years have had bandwagons, drums, orchestra-linked artists, Navradhups with sound systems. With Ganesh Chaturthi, the government has given permission to the artists to create a Diwali-like atmosphere.
The Home Office said in a statement that the bandwagon did not impose any restrictions on DJs. But it was not mentioned in the previous notifications. The decision came after criticism of Dyara’s program was leveled at the state BJP executive in Tevama Kevadia. It is said that, Gandhinagar Mu.
