Leaders meeting at Patil’s house
The leaders reached Kamalam after a meeting at the residence of Gujarat state president CR Patil. More than 20 police vehicles were deployed at the BJP office in Kamalam amid the morning agitation.

After Rupani’s resignation, rumors were circulating that Patidar leader and central minister Mansukh Mandvia would become the new CM of Gujarat. However, the BJP has won by Saturday evening. According to credible sources, Praful Patel, administrator of Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar mansions, will be the echo of the order for the CM post. While the names of Nitin Patel and Gordhan Zadafia are also being discussed in this list. It remains to be seen whether the party will make any of these four CMs or bring a new face to the people.
